A small selection of Patrice’s watercolor sketches were seen as “headers” here, before the Theme change. At some point they will be added back as a Gallery.

6″ x 8″ opaque watercolor (Dick Blick premium tempera) on 140 lb. Strathmore 400 watercolor paper. If you are wondering what the “stucco effect” is from: I experimented with acrylic mediums on paper (and on artist’s canvas). This is Liquitex (R) modeling paste, applied with a palette knife then textured by pressing & lifting a scrap of very heavy/coarse artist’s canvas (#8 or 6, I think).

  1. Hi.

I’m Epaminondas Petenakis and wanted to introduce myself.

I didn’t vote for either presidential candidate. There was enough obfuscation. Living with that decision was easier than choosing sides!

Anyway, I just registered the domain name for five years, and THEN Googled the word and found you!

I’m of no particular political persuasion, but maybe I do have a bit of fire for some revisionist Federalist papers…

I just wanted to say thanks for beating me to the punch on the contracture and that I’m always looking for unique points of view.

As an aside, I was trained by Peter Kokalis as a young child to fire full auto and detonate explosives (legally).

    So, hey!
