Happy together and hoping you are too

Inspiration for the Baby-Yoda-Cat doll: Tigger, curled up in jeans and peeking over the top!

So, my stubborn quarantined locked-down feminist strong independent sister-fish…you still not needin’ no bicycle?

Or wouldn’t it be nice (or nicer)

…to be married to and living with a loving, trustworthy, man-committed-to-you-alone right about now, not only for the companionship but for the safety-in-numbers?*

1/2 wholewheat, 1/2 bread-flour (mini Half-pound loaf)

And wouldn’t it be nicer right about now…

…if you had gone less “liberated” and a teensy bit Trad-Girl instead…and you’d have learned how to whip up some basics in the kitchen from scratch, say brewing your own coffee :-), mixing and baking a “quick bread” like scones, cheese biscuits (for small batches I use my toaster oven), a slow-cooker soup or a near “instant” one, and perhaps a slab of good ‘ol Focaccia for sammies or plain ‘ol veggie-topped cheese pizza?

And wouldn’t you be less stressed

…when you peer into the mirror every morning or get a glimpse of yourself during your (alas, seemingly endless) day if you hadn’t become an InstaGrimm-groupie and thereby got yourself hooked on glamming-up daily from your unmanageable closet stuffed with landfill-clogging disposable Fast-Fashion after troweling on an ever-expanding array of body-, face-, and eye-potions?

You don’t even need a box of crayons at supercoloring.com!

Wouldn’t you be a whole lot saner right about now…

…if only you had taken the time to learn a creative, literally constructive, hobby a while back, that you could pursue now with such abandon you’d hardly notice the time fly by? (It’s never too late to “color.” HERE, for free, you can even use their digital-coloring set-up! And check out ALL their How-to-Draw step-by-step fun projects, even paper-folding and board games.)

“Coloring” the fabric with stenciled on acrylics is my favorite part of doll-making.

Learn something new

Here’s hoping your remaining days-of-solitude are spent learning something new that’s constructive. I can pretty much promise such endeavors will lead you to a more contented place.

Do-it-yourself Matchmaking “course”

* How can you more wisely search for a partner to build a contented relationship with – one that’ll likely last a lifetime? Quit reading click-bait “advice” authors and get your very own MatchMaker, on the cheap, bubeleh! I can highly recommend, “Dating Secrets: the Ultimate Guide to Finding Your Spouse,” by two Jewish shadchanim (matchmakers), Leah Jacobs and Shaindy Marks. This, of course, deserves a much longer review, but in a nutshell, here goes…

While I’m not Jewish – and neither do you need to be to learn from the books jam-packed 288 pages – I am Christian. The continual references to God (Hashem), His hand, and those who fear Him was quite the opposite of bothersome. Now the frequent use of Yiddish terminology, even given the glossary at the back, did make the book challenging. To read the book cover to cover (I’d suggest taking notes) will take a while, but you will take frequent “breaks” as you work through the authors’ wise exercises.

Things that make me go, Hm-m-m…

Totally missed the reporting on some amazing fossil discoveries recently, so was looking into them. The one I was most interested in is still-secret. Why? I’m betting it’s simple: thieves. This mystery site in Wyoming with perhaps 100 full dinosaur skeletons was only just discovered (2019) and is likely unsecured. It will be a while before info comes out on it of course, but a search on the same fossil-bearing unit (Hell Creek formation) led me to what’s called The Tanis site up in North Dakota. It has been well studied and so I quickly found this free paper (A seismically induced onshore surge deposit at the K-Pg boundary, North Dakota) online and read through it casually. Who wouldn’t be interested in fossils apparently wiped out in “ND” minutes-to-hours after the giant Chicxulub asteroid hit “Mexico?”

From linked scientific article, A seismically induced onshore surge deposit…

Articles in the mainstream press on Tanis yielded a few field-photos and I was quite intrigued by some of them. The particular “Event Deposit” under study (#1, hot pink, in “Fig. 1” above) is supposed to have been deposited 66 MILLION years ago. In the field photos the pale grey layer looks like barely compressed dirt to me. I wondered how in the world it could have “lasted”/resisted erosion for 1 million years, much less 66 million? Below is a terrific picture of the main researcher and one of his assistants from USA Today’s coverage:

When you’re a “former geologist” and you start thinking about big erosion-events there is one that immediately floods into your mind. 😉 Curiosity now had me wondering how long Actual Geologists had estimated the mile-deep Grand Canyon took to form…and the History Channel sez…a paltry 5-to-6 million years.

So, tell me again how that crumbly grey material literally stood the Test of Time – on a slope – for not 5-6 million years, or 10, or 20, but for

66 million years.

How I heard about that Wyoming find

One of my absolute favorite Christian ministries is Living Waters, out in California. I like to support them by buying their downloads, rather than waiting for their longer videos for free on YouTube. Here is a link to the one in question. (It’s free starting November 1st.)

The Word on personal arms

What did Jesus do?

What did Jesus do when it came to Roman oppressors, Pharisaical oppressors, and Sword-Control?  Do you think, in a forgotten unrecorded aside, He actually told those disciples to check with the local ruling bureaucrats on the Roman Sword Regulations for Non-Citizens before buying their swords?  Surely He would have even advised them to, quick like dutifully meek sheep, register them after the sale and in the future to joyfully turn them in to those very same oppressors.  Surely.

Or how ’bout even before telling them to arm themselves mightn’t He have surreptitiously asked around…just to make sure none of them had anything questionable – say, like red-flags – on their “permanent (government) records?”

No?

But, but, but…wouldn’t He have done so if super-worser even more-deadly firearms had been the Personal-Protection weapon of choice back then?

Um-m-m…I’m still believing that’d be a big fat, “No.”

Available now: a FREE! Sci-fi fairytale

UPDATED 8 March 2019: Available on Smashwords, now. Short blurb:

Sometimes space-aliens really are out to get you, so don’t judge a space-rock by its stony exterior. The matrix might be hiding something truly mind-boggling which you (and your brain) should steer clear of. Um-m-m…NOW!

Is there a sci-fi fairytale genre? Well, there needs to be. This one will be about 9500 words and posits the actual origins of the Religion-of-Peace® (HT to Richard Dawkins). As you might imagine, I’m struggling on the final edits. (Also working to tie it into – as backstory – one of the passengers on the fictional Stratos A-29 flight in the FREE! short story called No Respect.)

I should have it up here over the weekend. It’s HERE!

p.s. If you drool over new fonts as much as I do (you poor thing), the two used on this cover (and likely on others of mine) are from the awesome FREE! font site, fontsquirrel. (Bahia & DayPosterBlack)

World Trade Center Day…

I’ll never call it “Patriot Day”

Tell me again why Fed-gov calls September 11th “Patriot Day?”

The 19th of April (1775) should rightfully carry that badge of courage, but Fed-gov despises individuals standing up to Tyrants like those New England colonists did way back then. That date in April has a much more important Propaganda Mission now. It’s much more useful as a red-hot illustration of the might and mayhem that the FBI/ATF/etc. can rain down on little ol’ Joe-Sixpack or David-Koresh.

BELIEVE_Sept11_socialmedia

“Pearl Harbor Day” (the 7th of December) should be “Patriot Day,” too

I’m betting “World Trade Center Day” was scrapped to take the attention off the (civilian) object of actual attack and the countless (civilian) victims. Have you considered the weirdness of so many things that day? Let merely the demolition-precise “collapse” of so-called Building 7 (untouched by planes or much debris) swirl in your head.

The powers-that-be can’t have Joe’s surviving sister, Suzy-Sixpack, give even a passing thought on that matter, or, or…well, she might look further.

Don’t lose your Faith

Too much thinking might cause Suzy to doubt. After doubt could come loss of Faith…and faith in her supreme leaders and their big budget Military Industrial Complex, is crucial. In a nation this large and mobile and, dare I say it, diverse, Faith in them and what they say is the most important cog in their Control-machine. They must protect her and her kind from too much Thinking.

So don’t ever wonder

What ever you do on the 11th of September, or on the 10th, 9th, or on any of the preceding or following 364 days of the year…

don’t wonder, don’t ponder, don’t ruminate on how the mighty U.S. Military Industrial Complex was completely impotent and unable to stop or at lease divert sub-sonic commercial aircraft, yet can keep you safe from any pesky “incoming!” supersonic boom-booms from the NORKS, CHICOMMS, RUSSKIES, IRAN-iacs (or other MUSLOIDS).

Don’t. Ever. Wonder.

“Lock her up…lock her up…”

Call me a dreamer

Maxine Waters behind bars for inciting violence…OK, so I can dream, can’t I?.

Auntie Maxine is a repurposed design concept from “Campaign 2016” season, when I was first inspired by Trump’s rally chant to put Hillary/HRC behind bars. (I intend to use it frequently, here, to fill my new Lock ‘Em Up page.)

Stick it to the atheist-Man again!

Two designs now available on my new “Faith” page: the Crusader Crest and Deus Vult.

One man’s Freedom-fighter is another’s Evil-Christian-colonizer…these two researchers are very accesible (Robert Spencer and J. Stephen Roberts) if you’d like to get a more accurate history of the lead-up-to and prosecution-of The Crusades.

Here, in a nutshell, is why Islam must be opposed.
